For someone who believes in the idea of life after daeth in a spectral for, Hamlet reads as it is often disscussed. Those who believe in ghosts see Hamlet as a misguided youth who seeks to capture the throne of Denmark for the honor of his mother, father and himself. When the ghost of Hamlet's father appears he provides as the motivation and fuel Hamelt needs in order to kill Claudius and assume the throne. Therefore, by believing in ghosts, your mind sets Hamelt up as the tragic hero of the play; a force fighting for the good of his kingdom despite his major flaws and problems.
For the average person who has no faith in the existence of spectral beings, Hamlet reads as a different experience altogether. If you dont believe in ghosts you treat the play, much like Gertrude treats her son during a latter scene involving a conversation with the ghost, following the accidental murder of Polonius. She believes he is truley mad and begins to side with her husban King Claudius, as a result. With the absense of the ghost, Hamlet loses a reason to beleive his father was murdered by Claudius, and can be seen as a madman to the reader, thus mking you side with King Claudius' court. Without the ghost, the characters seeking to portray Hamlet as mad give you more reason to believe he has gone crazy.

I Sweepa Da Chimmney
1.) I would have to agree with the ediots' opinion on Blake's poetry. The images in Blakes poetry are meant to inspire your imagination. I personally picture the Chinney sweeping boys as different parts of my soul. the first as an upbeat hoepful spirit who helps me recover from painful experiances; and the second is the beaten boy, who is downtrodden from years of emotional pain.
2.) The poems explore the pain of children working to make a living for themselves and their families. The document provides a background for the working conditions of these children. For me personally, the document provides me with more reason to find the working children sad. It makes the act of putting small children to work seem much more harmful to the human psyche.

Gulliver Travels To My Blog!
How do the troubles of the Liliputians reflect Swift's views on government?
How does Gulliver's attitude of non-agression in Liliputia relate to today's world? (Think of US occupancy.)
What is the signifigance of the high heel?
What is the signifigance of the chancellor wishing to be level with Gulliver's face when they spoke instead of making Gulliver lie down.
My teacher group had a good understanding of the story concepts. They understood what i was looking for with my questions, and had intelligent answers to start dicussions. Some issues were that were all involved in ,usical things and we didnt have a full group on most of the days we were meeting, but in the end we came together and got work done.

1984 Final Writing Assignment
O'brien's doctrine he recites to Winston serves as a reminder in Winston's earlier absolute belief that the party is always right. O'brien hopes to banish all thoughts of disobediance from Winston's mind. He enforces the partys dominance over Oceania, showing absolute faith in Ingsoc.
He enforces that the party is so powerful, they can alter Human history. This is the only time in the book that a party member, other than Winston, acknoweledges the constant records tampering that the party performs. All of the partys tampering begs the question, "If history is only in the minds of humans and all humans remember something different from what actually happened, then did what the humans remember actually happen?
O'brien tells Winston that he will be killed by the party, thus making his belief in the ideals of the party irrelevant. They seek to make him belief everything they say not to reform him into an ideal citizen, but to refuse his right to die a martyr.
